The Hazlehead, Tullos and Bridge of Don recycling centres
Aberdeen City Council has three recycling centres, at Hazlehead, Tullos and Bridge of Don. They're for Aberdeen residents only. Find your nearest one in Loci and check what you can bring before you go.
Hazlehead Avenue, Hazlehead, AB15 8BJ
Takes garden waste, but not food waste. Paint and household chemicals are accepted here with a booking.
Greenbank Crescent, Tullos, AB12 3BG
There's no pedestrian access, so you need to arrive in a vehicle.
Claymore Drive, Bridge of Don
The new Bridge of Don centre, which replaced the old Scotstown Road site. Paint and household chemicals are accepted here with a booking.
Cars and small vans don't need a booking, but bring proof of your Aberdeen address. Book ahead if you're coming in a transit-type van, a pick-up, a car with a trailer, a people carrier with more than seven seats or a van over four cubic metres, or if you're bringing paint or chemicals. Find out how to book on the Aberdeen City Council website.
Aberdeen City residents only, with proof of address. Vehicles must be under 3.5 tonnes, and commercial waste isn't accepted.
Aberdeen City Council runs the city's three recycling centres and collects your bins at home. Aberdeenshire Council runs separate centres for the rest of the north east.

Aberdeen council services: your questions answered
Aberdeen City Council empties wheelie bins every fortnight: general waste one week, then mixed recycling and your brown food and garden waste bin the next. Put your bins out by 7am. Loci shows your collection days and reminds you the night before.
Your mixed recycling bin, with a blue or grey lid, takes paper, card, metal, plastic and glass. Put items in loose, not in bags, and rinse and flatten them first.
Not for your first brown bin. Food and garden waste in one brown bin is emptied without a permit. You only need a permit for a second or third brown bin.
There are three: Hazlehead on Hazlehead Avenue, Tullos on Greenbank Crescent and Bridge of Don on Claymore Drive. All three are run by Aberdeen City Council for city residents.
Not in a car or small van, but bring proof of your Aberdeen address. Book ahead for transit-type vans, pick-ups, cars with trailers, people carriers with more than seven seats, vans over four cubic metres, or if you're bringing paint or chemicals.
Aberdeen City Council publishes school term dates and holidays for its schools. Loci syncs council term dates automatically and reminds you when they're coming up.
