Who does what in Kent
Most of Kent has two councils. Kent County Council runs roads, libraries, schools, social care and the county's 19 tips. Your district council collects your bins and handles council tax and planning. Medway is different: Medway Council runs all its own services. Loci brings Kent County Council and your district council together, from Maidstone and Canterbury to Ashford, Folkestone and Tunbridge Wells.
