It depends on your local council. Most councils in the UK adjust their bin collection schedule around bank holidays, typically moving collections forward or back by one day. A small number keep their collections running as normal. The best way to find out is to check your council's website or use an app like Loci, which tracks your schedule and sends you updates automatically.
Most councils that change their schedule will move affected collections to the following day. So if your normal collection day is a Monday bank holiday, it may move to Tuesday.
