It’s easy to feel cut off from the decisions that shape your local area. You might not hear about things until they’ve already happened, or feel like your voice doesn’t carry much weight. Meanwhile, services feel harder to reach, and trust in local institutions has taken a hit, especially as costs rise and experiences don’t always meet expectations.
At the same time, councils are doing their best under real pressure, often without the right tools to listen well, share clearly, or involve people in a meaningful way.
We started Loci because we believe it doesn’t have to be like this. Communities work best when people feel informed, included and able to help shape the places they live. And we believe councils and residents can do more together, side by side, when the right platform exists to bring that relationship to life.
